We are a CBSE SCHOOL running under GR EDUCATIONAL TRUST, a non-profit organization overseen by a Board of Directors. The Board comprises of a doctor, an advocate, an academic advisor and includes an administrator. The administrator is responsible for the day to day activities of the programme.

SCHOOL HISTORY

In recent years it’s been challenging for students to enter into professional courses and we understood that it is even more challenging for those in rural areas who have less availability of all resources necessary for competing with their counterparts in cities. The parents begin to recognize the need for assistance in their endeavor to achieve their dreams. Our idea of SKVM as thus born out of this recognition.

We owned this school which was previously named as MOUNT ZION ACADEMY and renamed as SRI KAMATCHI VIDYA MANDHIR (SKVM) with state of the art technologies incorporated to give an experiential learning atmosphere to the students where they can showcase their potentials and come out in flying colors.

SKVM is a unique initiative. Unique in the sense that it is started as a collective effort to give something back to the society, something which we all feel obliged to.

The initiative gathered roots from discussions on the need to have an ideal school which would impart quality education including value education. An ideal school should be at par with the world and produce some of the finest students who can take on the world with confidence and charisma.

The school is an endeavor by GR Educational Trust. The purpose of the trust is to maintain and operate a school in this region under the model of social entrepreneurship. The Trust comprises of a team of well settled professionals namely doctor, advocate educationist and MBA graduate.
